Amaranca Noble amaro from Etna

An extraordinary product highly appreciated by Michelin-starred gastronomy, Amaranca is an amaro obtained by perfecting an ancient recipe for processing wild Sicilian oranges and extracting medicinal herbs and roots harvested on the slopes of Mount Etna, carefully selected and processed according to an ancient Romeo family recipe preserved and unchanged over time.

An amaro with an unmistakable taste and therapeutic and aphrodisiac properties. It has a dark color and a flavor that is not overly bitter. It is drunk neat or on the rocks, preferably with orange zest and a fresh mint leaf. Used mainly as a digestif or a summer drink, it is bitter to just the right degree—neither too little nor too much; the sugar is present but not noticeable, the caramel envelops everything, and the herbs and roots complete the taste of the orange, which predominates without being intrusive, followed by a rhubarb finish, with a well-balanced alcohol content of 30%, firmly respecting the Sicily/citrus pairing.

Multi-award-winning, this Sicilian amaro won the Gold Medal in the Amaro category at the 2021 World Liqueur Awards. A very important achievement attained by a true Sicilian excellence that best represented Sicily and Italy at the prestigious competition.
