Etna and Wine the volcanic nature
It was 2015 when Emilio Sciacca decided to breathe new life into a place that had historically produced wine since the early twentieth century, the ancient "Palmento della Martinella" located not far from the town of Linguaglossa.

Emilio's decade of experience in nature tourism gained in the area and his meeting with the winemaking experience accumulated over the years by Gianluca Torrisi facilitated the realization of the project. In 2018, the first wine production began: the idea is to make wine with nature as a traveling companion; in fact, the wine becomes the protagonist of an expression of the authenticity of the places, grape varieties, and vintage. For this reason, Emilio does not use synthetic chemicals in the soil, nor does he use invasive and denaturing agronomic and oenological techniques, and thus creates an ethical, natural wine with strong human connotations. Four words identify the concept of the wine produced by Emilio Sciacca Etna Wine: Wine, Human, Nature, Etna.

With the help of qualified experts who follow all stages of cultivation, production, vinification, and bottling, current production features the BIANCOPIGLIO Etna Bianco D.O.C., the ROSSOBRILLO Etna Rosso D.O.C., and the NEROMAGNO Etna Rosso D.O.C., distinguished by vineyard origin, vinification, and aging.

The ancient palmento combines the ancient soul of the structure with a modern one dedicated to hospitality and welcoming. Communicating through wine in communion with the authentic flavors of the Sicilian culinary tradition will be the language used by Emilio to share this project of multiple potential. "How much joy and how much magic would be missing from our best experiences without good wine."
