The Elegance of the Northern Slope: A Volcanic Red with Centenary Tradition
Born in Contrada Allegracore, in Randazzo, the Etna Rosso DOC Neromagno represents the pinnacle of heroic viticulture on the northern slope. Here, at an altitude of 700 meters, 70-year-old bush-trained vines sink their roots into sandy, volcanic soils, preserving the memory of an extreme territory. Hand-harvested and left unfiltered, this wine offers a pure, deep, and true-to-nature glass, produced in a limited run of only 3,000 bottles.
- 🌋 Exceptional Terroir: The altitude and volcanic soil, rich in pumice and minerals, give the wine its characteristic savoriness and unmistakable territorial imprint.
- 🌱 Historical Indigenous Varieties: A rigorous blend of 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio, from old vines tended according to organic farming principles.
- 🧑🍳 Respectful Vinification: 20-day spontaneous fermentation using only indigenous yeasts and aging in steel vats. A process that enhances the primary notes of the grape without wood-derived alterations.
- 🍷 Sensory Expression: The nose is a tapestry of red fruits, spices, and mineral hints. On the palate, it reveals a deep, enveloping, and soft texture, supported by delicate tannins and excellent persistence.
- 💧 Absolute Integrity: Clarification occurs solely through natural decanting and racking, without any mechanical filtration.

🍷 The Ambassador of Taste recommends:
As this is a living, unfiltered wine, I recommend uncorking it at least half an hour before serving to let it breathe and unlock its full spectrum of spice. Pay close attention to the temperature: serve it at exactly 18°C (64°F) so as not to dim its mineral freshness. In our region, we love pairing it with a generous platter of Nebrodi Black Pig charcuterie; its elegant tannin cleanses the palate beautifully.

QUICK FAQ
Is it normal for the wine to have a slight deposit at the bottom?
Absolutely. The choice not to filter the wine and to use only natural decanting preserves the organoleptic structure, but can leave a slight sediment, which is a hallmark of a genuine artisanal product.
What is the aging potential?
The distinct acidity of the Etnean terroir and the quality of the tannins allow this Etna Rosso to evolve beautifully in the bottle for several years, if stored correctly.
