The precious seeds of the Mediterranean scrub: resinous flavor and buttery texture

Hand-harvested in the island's wild pine forests, these seeds encapsulate the purest essence of the Sicilian woods, offering a delicate crunch that melts on the palate, releasing unmistakable aromatic notes.

  • 🌱 Wild Harvest: They grow naturally on island pine trees, without the use of any fertilizers or chemicals. A wild supply chain that guarantees an intense and authentic aromatic profile, far removed from imported varieties.
  • 🧑🍳 Mediterranean Versatility: Thanks to their high natural lipid content (68.3g of fat per 100g), they impart exceptional structural creaminess to pesto and enrich fresh salads and baked desserts with earthy notes.
  • 🌋 Sensory Profile: Chewing releases resinous and elegant hints, perfect for creating textural contrasts in both savory preparations and classic Sicilian recipes.

🍷 The Ambassador of Taste recommends:

From experience, I advise against using pine nuts exclusively raw if you want to fully enjoy them. Toast them in a hot non-stick pan for no more than 1-2 minutes. Be careful though: having almost 70% natural fats, they burn in an instant! Keep them moving constantly until they turn golden. Also, a storage tip: if you don't eat them all right away, seal them in a glass jar and store them in the refrigerator. The cold will prevent the essential oils from going rancid over time.
